Magdalena Glas
Cybersecurity Researcher | PostDoc @ University of Regensburg
Hi! I’m Lena, a PostDoc at the chair of information systems (Prof. Dr. Günther Pernul) at the University of Regensburg where I coordinate the REINIST project (funded by the Bavarian StMWi) on better cybersecurity risk management and awareness in the industry. My research evolves about human-centric aspects of security and privacy.
I obtained my PhD degree in June 2025 with the topic “Authentic Learning in Organizational Cybersecurity” exploring the potential of cyber ranges, replications of real systems, as a way to train individuals to detect and mitigate cyber attacks.
You can find news about our group and my research on our lab website.
Whenever I’m not at university or in front of a computer, you will most likely find me climbing, cycling or looking for the best aperitivo places in Regensburg.
If you want to reach out, feel free to contact mevia email magdalena.glas[at]ur.de, LinkedIn or come by my office (RWS105).
